Parenting Collection

Whether you are a first time parent or a seasoned veteran, there is useful information for you in the Parenting Collection currently located in the main Library.

The scope of the collection includes the following:

  • General Parenting – child development, potty training, sleep problems, emotional and psychological challenges facing children,
  • Family Issues – divorce, death, illness of a family member, adoption, siblings, working parents, single parents, and blended families,
  • Health Issues – childhood illnesses, nutrition, allergies, disabilities, safety, and sex education,
  • Education and Learning Issues – homework help, early literacy and book selection.
